FAQs

Do I have to join CrossFit to see you?

No. However, clients will likely be asked to participate in some form of physical activity to promote their mental health.

Can we exercise while we do talk therapy?

Yes. Physical activity is important for brain health. We are capable of moving and talking at the same time.

Do you see children?

Sam is currently able to treat ages 12 or older.

Do you accept my insurance?

No. Based upon my extensive experience as a practice administrator and provider, I believe insurance companies complicate the delivery of quality care. I will provide all of the documentation that you need to file your own insurance claims. (Be aware that if you plan to file your own insurance claim, you will need out-of-network benefits as part of your plan.)

Do you accept clients outside of Hampton Roads?

Yes, on a case-by-case basis. There are many limitations to using only telehealth. If you are outside Hampton Roads, please contact me prior to signing up for an account in the portal.
